"Painted subway tickets, each painted while commuting on the Paris métro. An attempt to capture the glance, the gaze, the stare of my fellow passengers and travelling companions for so brief a moment. I would like to keep a picture of these unknown faces in my mind forever but, as time passes, the memory fades until all that remains is a little paint on a small cardboard ticket: a tiny reminder of a fleeting moment when two paths crossed."
