... cet être triste. Une fidèle a un jour commenté le côté triste de ces portraits. Peu de gens sourient dans le métro.

An attempt to capture the glance, the gaze, the stare of my fellow passengers and travelling companions for so brief a moment. I would like to keep a picture of these unknown faces in my mind forever but, as time passes, the memory fades until all that remains is a little paint on a small cardboard ticket: a tiny reminder of a fleeting moment when two paths crossed."
